The pork sand was really good and juicy. The ribs were country style, the sauce was more vinegar based. Not my favorite. The pork sand was not that way. The menu was a pricy. $40 is too much for a non baby back rack of ribs. Brunswick stew was pretty good.

Food and service was good rib was a little tough chopped pork was very tasty. It is in an old house and it is a nice setup. The owner is very cool.

Fantastic homemade BBQ pork sandwich, sweet tea and key lime pie! Great environment too.

This place sucks or should I say the owner is an ass. At first I did think it was a nice place... it's in a big house... they have grills all around the place... On the porch, around the back of the house, I thought it was nice and it was a cool how they had the restaurant out of their home. My first concern (being that they had plenty of grills around the house) was that the first time I went my food was being heated up in the microwave also that the prices on the food was a bit much for the portions given you'd have thought that the sandwich would have came with chips and a drink for the price. But me and my children visit my husband, their father, at the detention center located in Lumpkin, Ga. and I was trying to conserve money for the trips and also have money to be able to afford to take them somewhere to eat and being that there was a gas station right beside the barbecue place I decided to send my 17 year old daughter across the street to buy our drinks and chips with my EBT card. From the first visit I told myself I wasn't going back in there again but I had talked to my aunt about the place and that it was a barbecue place and she wanted to go there so I ended up going back in there again. This time I go in and the same thing happens and I go and send my daughter across the street to get our drinks at this point I'm getting my food and I didn't agree with the baked beans having a massive garlic and pepper taste in them... Me personally never had garlic and pepper in my baked beans and the amount of it just really threw me off and it was also in the coleslaw. So I decided to tell them I did not like it and if I could just be charged for a large BBQ sandwich because I had the barbecue plate with two sides and do not like the sides... was going to trade out, but they told me they had nothing else so I asked if I could be charged for the meat instead of the plate the owner walks over to my table and says you don't like the beans you don't like the coleslaw I said no you don't like the meat it's the same thing that's in the sandwiches... I said I have no problem with the meat (other than it being heated up in the microwave) I just cannot eat the sides. He says normally I would take them off but since you decide that you need to go across the street and buy drinks I won't take them off then he said how about that. I first thought he was playing around just inquire why she would go across the street or why I would send her across the street to get drinks when they have drinks there but he was serious and told me that he was trying to make a living too and that I had no business bringing in drinks from any other establishment. I told him that if he could swipe my EBT card for the drinks that he was more than welcome to but that I was trying to conserve money so that I'd have gas money to go home on and that me and my children could also eat I then proceeded to leave, left my aunt sitting there and also a family friend that accompanied this time that also went with me. I spent $60 the first time I was in there and spent 40 this last time not counting the over $50 my aunt and family friend spent on my last visit there. I told him that it was very nice how he treated his customers that he wouldn't have to worry about me ever stepping foot in his place again and he said good.

Ate there a week ago. Same review as others. Austin, TX prices; decent food. Bun was cold and not toasted. No sauce on the table. The house was awesome and bathroom and areas very clean. Could do much better and be a great stop but not at these prices. No side with $7.95 pork sandwich? Nope. Not again. Sorry.
